Anybody can do it? Yes. Outside of Long Island, NY. Buy a house for 20 grand and flip it for 30? I’m not complaining about anyones success, but as much as I’d like to believe it, you must also believe that it doesn’t work here. I have yet to get any cooperation from any agent for reo’s, shortsales, or anything else. And all private sellers want to see my credit or the credit of any possible rent-to-own buyers before selling their homes, so I can’t even try that route. Maybe I will have to try being an investor after I get my re license, and use what I’ve learned from the inside. I just don’t know what else to do or try. The NYC/Long Island area is just a different animal. I’m open to suggestions.

If you can do it in cali, you can do it anywhere. besides you’re not limited to your area, you have an entire nation full of deals.
I’m in South Carolina and doing in, so you can definitely do it in new york! I wasn’t fortunate enough to pay a vip mentor and had to work 5 months without making a dime…….then,………….then, It happened i started doing deals and haven’t looked back since! I made almost 4,000 two weeks ago and am making another 1800 this week, so it can be done! Have faith in yourself and what your doing, believe it will work, feel good, and be persistent and you will do deals! i don’t care if you are in new york!! btw don’t tell realtors your wholesaling tell them your buying with cash and they will more more likely to wanna work with you!!
